I have only recently begun to dabble in songwritting which made reading your book even more inspirational for me. I have to tell you, I am 52 years old and only started playing guitar around 20 years ago. I have been playing the 10 AM 'Family' mass at my church for just about all of those 20 years. Even the old ladies at the 5PM Sat. Mass like what I do. While I love the blues, I feel blessed that I can use my talent to Praise the Lord and help others do the same. I just finished reading your "Pickin' up the Pieces" book. I was always a Poco fan but never how much you influenced both Buffalo Springfield and Poco. Of course, I ordered, 'The Best of Buffalo Springfiled' and 'Souther, Hillman and Furay' as a result of reading the book.
