I remember when you & I played an after hoops gig at Cedarville H.S. in about '59 before I headed off to Ohio Wesleyan for my 1st degree, & you to Otterbein, then Whiskey-A-Go-Go, Buffalo Springfield, Poco, JD Souther, & more. My youngest daughter Holly graduated from Cedarville U in '99 and every time I'd visit their campus I'd drive by the H.S. and reflect upon our early gig-you've come a long way since then! Other than parties, the only singing I'm doing now is with the Akron Symphony Orchestra Chorus, which is a far cry from Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, & similar cover stuff I did at Wesleyan with a band in the early 60's. Sorry about the knee surgery-been there, done that, but nothing as romantic as a Colorado snowstorm was the cause-pickup basketball game in Y.S. with some of our classmates. May try to get to the 7/26 concert at Beachland Ballroom. Just received the book with the note inside it. THANK YOU ! I've been a fan for years, back in 79 or 80 I sent you a letter and you responded with a photo from the cover of "I Still Have Dreams", and a personal message on it.
