HALLELUJAH

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & David Diggs

Oh the love that You give me
Set me on fire, gave me desire
I’ve got to tell someone that You are the Son of God

The First and the Last, You’ve forgiven my past
Oh and now that I know I’ll never let go,
And why – oh why, did it ever take so long
To know that You gave Your life for me
I just never know that a love could be that strong

Hallelujah, Hallelujah – oh, oh, oh – oh Jesus
Ooooh the Son of God is coming
Hallelujah, Hallelujah – oh, oh, oh – oh my sweet Jesus
You are the Son of God and I love

And the songs that You give, I’ll sing in Your choir,
So You can admire – the melody, Your gift that was free to me
I’ll praise You on high, lift my hands to the sky
You’re the heart of my song where the glory belongs … … …

Endless Flight

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & David Diggs

Were you lovers or just strangers,
Crossing each others lives
Were there moments of true love,
When you looked in each others eyes
Oh it’s crazy how it’s all over now and to think how you cried
When you made up, never gave up, you had hope, ooh you survived

There’s a fantasy, but just let it be
Yeah there are those who would have you believe
That you love was all wrong – you never belonged
It’s a lie – don’t walk out and leave

Wish I may, wish I might have this wish tonight
That you’d make up, never break up
And your love would be an Endless Flight
Endless Flight, there’s nothing in your way tonight

It’s too fast how we live, takin’ back all we give
Never leaving enough but the pain
Oh I know in my heart you’ll be fallin’ in love again
Do it now and do it up right
Take your hearts on an Endless Flight
And feel the way you did one summer night!

YELLOW MOON RISING

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & Tom Stipe

See that Yellow Moon Rising high in the sky – there
Don’t let it fool you now, oh no – it’s just a feelin’ but I
Don’t want to find you lost, paying a heavy cost
For nothin’ at all, it’s a mighty long way to fall

There are angels in heaven, but some fell away
Don’t let ‘em fool you now, oh no – it’s just a feelin’ but I
Heard that from the garden they were thrown out and hardened
And as I recall it was a mighty long way to fall

You can bet on this life, but the stakes will be high
And talk all you want about heaven
But the moon in your eye, and those in disguise
Won’t get you to paradise – oh no

Temptations are many, with hearts runnin’ wild
Don’t let ‘em fool you now, oh no
It’s not a feelin’ but I
Crossed that line and lived a lie, suffered but did not die
Saved from it all, a mighty long way to fall

If you’re fallin’ fallin
Fallin’
If you’re fallin’
Fallin
If you’re fallin’ fallin
Fallin’

SEASONS OF CHANGE

Written by: Richie Furay

I was born in love, I truly was a son to be named
Mama said she always wanted a son for a child
I grew up, grew wild, hard to be tamed
I set out alone, I made New York my home – I was on my own

Big city lights, Village nights then time to move on
California had the surf up on the horizon
Big “stars”, boulevards a boardwalk of pawns
Hollywood seemed more a nightmare than dream
Do you know what I mean

Seasons of Change can be lonely
So together with my one and only
We looked to the Lord for our life to arrange
We came to a place in the mountains
Living Water of truth filled our fountains
And new life was born, in a Season of Change

Now I’m born again, a citizen of heaven and I –
I’m laying my treasures up, yes in heaven
I’m living, giving my life for the Lord
He took my place, I been saved by His grace
I’m gonna run the race

MY LORD AND MY GOD
(Jesus Is My Lord)

Written by: Richie Furay

Jesus is my Lord, He is King of kings,
Jesus is my Lord and My God
Jesus is my Lord, He is King of kings,
Jesus is my Lord and My God

Standing in His love gives me the feeling of, His strength and His might
The power of Jesus is my song
Spirit in the wind testify of Him and all that is right
Do Lord, sanctify my heart,
Set me apart

Jesus is my Lord, He is King of kings,
Jesus is my Lord and My God …

Living in His grace takes me to a place, and oh what a sight,
I can see a mansion on a hill
Sitting on His throne in truth He is known, the Giver of life,
And there’s peace like a river running still,
Come if you will and say

Jesus is my Lord, He is King of kings, ….
Jesus is my Lord and my God

Servant of the Lord His gift is your reward, life without end
But your heart must truly be one with Him
Pray “Thy kingdom come on earth Thy will be done”
And live that His word, Will satisfy the heart of every man,
He will and He can

Jesus is my Lord, He is King of kings, …
Jesus is my Lord and My God

RISE UP

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & David Diggs

Rise Up, gonna be some sing’ going down
Rise Up, in one accord
Rise Up, we’ll have a picnic on the ground
Rise Up children of the Lord

I’ll meet you down by the river, we’ll sing our faithful song
There’s a wedding that’s comin’, Oh I pray it won’t be long
I pray it won’t be long

Rise Up, gonna be some sing’ going down
Rise Up, in one accord
Rise Up, we’ll have a picnic on the ground
Rise Up children of the Lord

Lift your hands and say come quickly Lord,
Umm, mmm, come quickly Lord
Take my spirit, take me on board
Oh -oh, oh come quickly, Lord

Oh our hope is within Him, yes Jesus is coming soon
We are His bride, ahh, Jesus is the Groom, He is the Bridegroom

Rise Up, gonna be some sing’ going down
Rise Up, in one accord
Rise Up, we’ll have a picnic on the ground
Rise Up children of the Lord

PROMISE OF LOVE

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & Hadley Hockensmith

I’ll never be the same since I found you
I wouldn’t believe it myself, ahhh, but it’s true
You’ll always be the one I am bound to,
The love of my life, oh, for always
And if ever you’d think that my heart could be changin’
If ever you’d think I’d be changin’ my mind,
I’m just not that kind

It’s a Promise of Love we will share as one under the Son
A Promise of Love of the work in us that He’s just begun
Heaven on earth will be, livin’ our lives together,
Oooh forever, you’re heaven sent and I —

Will never be the same since I found you
And oh, Lord I thank you for the one You sent my way
And now we’re standin’ here together before You
As our love grows, precious in Your eyes, Oh Lord
And if ever you’d think that my heart could be changin’
If ever you’d think I’d be changin’ my mind,
I’m just not that kind

It’s a Promise of Love we will share as one under the Son
A Promise of Love of the work in us that He’s just begun
Heaven on earth will be, livin’ our lives together,
Oooh forever, you’re heaven sent and I —

HOME TO MY LORD

Written by: Richie Furay

Oh I can see, the silver lining, shining in the sky
I can see my sweet Jesus, there in the bye and by
He has given me my freedom and heard me when I cry
And I’m going home to meet him in the sky

Oh, oh oh I’m, gettin’ ready to go
I’m getting ready to go home,
I’m ready to go home to my Lord
Oh, oh oh I’m, getting’ ready to go
Yes I’m getting ready to go home,
I’m ready to go home to my Lord

And I will walk in the garden, in flowers knee high
I will sing of my faith, and Jesus won’t deny
My love for the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost
And I will sit at the table of the Host of host

I’m getting ready to go …

Oh Master, Savior are names You are called
But Christ, the Messiah is mightier than all
In heaven is Your kingdom – oh Lord, please receive
My heart and my soul – I believe

I’m getting ready to go …

FOR THE PRIZE

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & Hadley Hockensmith

I’m running, yes I’m running
But I see that the end is in sight
Shadows have been chasing me
But I won’t fall for them – not on my life
Oh, oh, oh while I’ve been looking you straight in the eyes
Oh, oh, oh I’m running this race for the prize

Trouble’s been at my door knockin’
But I’m living in some other place
Called to believe there’s a crown to receive
And a love I will always embrace
Oh, oh, oh while I’ve been looking you straight in the eyes
Oh, oh, oh I’m running this race for the prize

I haven’t come here to show, place or draw
Winner’s gonna take all
Oh, oh, oh while I’ve been looking you straight in the eyes
Oh, oh, oh I’m running this race for the prize

Through It All

Words by: Richie Furay
Music by: Richie Furay & Tom Stipe

What will you say to His face, what will you do to replace
Moments too late to erase
What once was here will be gone, paid for in full all along
A bounty in spite of Babylon
Jezebel – or Emmanuel

Many are called yet for some, they live their life on the run
Cryin’ for the love they thought they’d won
But what is the price one must pay, will you lay down your life on that day
The man with the mark comes to make his way
If you live or die – there’s a reason why

Through It All some will fall while others will stand in awe
Reaching up to fill their cup with love that’s more than enough
I have to be standin’ free when I see the clouds rollin’ by
Call His Name without shame – Jesus will reign
Through It All — – Through It All

After it’s all said and done, will you find your place in the Son
The moment of truth has finally come
And just like the scripture has said – Jesus is living not dead
And now the Book of Life will be read
And every knee’ll bow, every tongue’ll vow

Through It All some will fall while others will stand in awe
Reaching up to fill their cup with love that’s more than enough
I have to be standin’ free when I see the clouds rollin’ by
Call His Name without shame – Jesus will reign
Through It All — – Through It All
